The legendary boxing trainer is best known as the driving force behind former featherweight world champion “Prince” Naseem Hamed. But like all great trainers, his gym at St. Thomas’ Boys and Girls Club in Wincobank, Sheffield, has produced champion after champion. Brendan, a son of Dublin, continues to train fighters and has been awarded an MBE for his services to sport.
